Senior Yorkie Talker | puppy food At what age should you stop feeding puppy food, and begin adult food. Bailey is a shy away of seven months.

| Typically it's recommended for the first year....that's how I was taught and how I've always done it...but the yorkie breed has been a learning experience for me!! |

| In general puppy food is for the first year but many dog foods are for All Life Stages. The amount per day is more for a pup. |

| Well for some reason our Vet/the Royal Canin bag recommended 10 months for our Harry....but then maybe it's because he's so HUUUUGE!!!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Depends on what food you are feeding, but all have a recommended guideline on their bag. Joey's food suggested 10 months. Switch gradually, adding adult food slowly.

| I started combining Ripley's puppy food with adult food about 1 week before her birthday. I didn't want her to get an upset tummy and it worked well.
