| ![]() Hope it all heals up quickly. I have had big toe injuries several times, never broken but badly bruised, and a few times leading to loss of the toenail. One thing I found that helped is applying Arnica Gel (a homeopathic gel) over the toe, and it helped the pain and bruising go away and didn't lose the nail last time when I dropped the vacuum cleaner on my toe. As far as accidents due to pets, Jodi (megansmomma) yours was one of the worst, and I remember it every time I see a puddle on the floor. My whole house is tile and hardwood and I am so afraid somebody will slip.

| ![]() Ouch! Hope your toe heals quickly! When Nala was a puppy I was carrying her down our stairs and missed the step. I used both hands to protect her, so I fell hard. I broke my tailbone... the end completely off. It was extremely painful for a long time, and took about 2 years to heal. I never regretted protecting her for a moment! That fall could have killed her. I would make the same choice again... she is worth it! ![]()
