| Hair issues Ok need some advice for my baby girl. She had always been sensitive with her hair but I finally saw her hair was growing and then it started falling out once I put rubber bands in it again. What is good source of bands to use in the hair that won't tangle and pull it out. Also any tips on ways to stimulate hair regrowth? Positive and encouraging feedback is always welcome and appreciated. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I like super stretchy bands, mimimomo, a member here sells some bands and clips at her online store very reasonably priced. toplinepet.com I use the black ones in the tube, I know they are stretchy. Joey's breeder told me that when you put a topknot in you should always put something between the band and the scalp to loosen the knot. Too tight of knot, meaning too close to the scalp, can damage the hair follicles and in some cases she's seen the scalp go black where the tissue has died. With these bands you don't have to worry, but they stay in good too unlike the cloth bands.

| I like the Topline stretchy bands, too. I also use the small scrunchies bands as they seem to be easy on the hair. Regardless of which band I use, at night I loosen it and message her scalp- she loves the message part! Vellus makes two products that supposedly help with hair growth. I use them both but not for hair growth so can't really speak to that, but some of the folks that show speak highly of it for that reason. Maybe some of the other shiw folks here will weigh in on that. Vellus Satin Cream Vellus static Stabilizer Good luck!
