| Fromm, Acana, Farmina... from a store like Petco or Petsmart? Purina Beyond, Royal Canin, Wellness.

| I would not feed Purina they are the company who owned the chicken jerky that was linked to hundreds of dog deaths and took them years to finally pull and it's now back on the market and still said not to be safe. I like Wellness, Royal Canin and Acana.

| We've done blue buffalo with our previous yorkie, Troy. He was a finicky eater so we had to change food about every 3 months. Emma on the other hand is fed Nutri Source Grain Free. She's being doing well on it, and one of the main reasons I like it is that she poops 1-2 times a day and they are small and firm. Even though she's only 6 months old, her coat is amazing.

| Solid Gold Wee Bits and Barking at the Moon. I mix them both and both my dogs love it. The company will send you samples if you want to try them first. |

| HI. I know I'm not here alot. Thought I'd pop in. Our Bailey has been a finicky eater from day one. We've tried quite a bit. He never liked Blue Buffalo. We started going to a local holistic place and they handed out samples. Instead of taking them home, we just opened the bags right there for him to try. This is what he chose and still loves: Fromm Four-Star Nutritionals Whitefish & Potato Dry Dog Food, 15-lb bag Last edited by R_Z; 09-18-2014 at 12:33 PM. |

http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ce-thread.html Post #23 has a couple of Fromm formula kibble sizes including the whitefish one. I think there are a few other Fromm kibbles in that thread as well.

| The whitefish and potato kibbles are larger than the other Fromm formulas but pretty flat like an arrowhead and are pretty easy to pick up and chew...my pups never had issues with the size |

I'm a little on the fence about it as they've been eating it for almost 2 weeks and they've been having very soft stools, that aren't a "normal" color in my mind, it's more so a beige color. I have reason to believe that's probably because it's not grain free. (I wasn't aware they even had one that was) tomorrow I'm going to switch their food to something else hoping for a better result.
