| The Diamond Food tragedy is another good reason for feeding a high quality food that does not contain corn, wheat, oats and/or other grains. |

| Luckily our state, TX was not among those affected. I had never heard of Diamond and found it difficult to figure out what brand they sold (of course, their own) It is a terrible tragedy.

| I am so scared to death. Oklahoma wasn't listed and it said the entire line of Chicken Soup was not being recalled. I just started feeding both my precious babies the Chicken Soup. I do not know whether to change foods or to take a chance since Oklah wan't listed. My gosh. This is sooooo scary!!!!! Any suggestions? There are so many foods to avoid for one reason or another and I am afraid to even try any of them. Can't feed them table food either. Help!!!!

| I started feeding my babies the Chicken Soup For Pet Lovers, Seniors. but I'm taking them off of it. Any company that has to go thru recalls, I'm not trusting their quality of their standards at their plants anymore.... The food I bought for them is going back to the store tomorrow. Any suggestions as to what else to try? Been thru Eukenuba, Royal Canin, and now that they are 6 and 8 yrs old would like to get food that is low in fat, no corn, wheat, fillers, by products, etc. |

| This is one reason - mine have dry Iams dog food (which they don't like, of course) and other than this, I cook for them and feed them people food. They eat a wide variety of healthy foods. Tonight they had chopped up meat loaf with rice and cooked carrots. Took me 5 minutes to make the meat loaf and it has lasted for days. They also eat a variety of other meats and vegetables with rice. Plus - whatever is left over from my meals. There are tons of different things I can feed them that are healthy for them. I just work at giving them a well balanced diet. Carol Jean |

| I guess I'm going to add more healthy foods to their diet of which they already love chicken breast meat, green beans, carrots, and peas. At least I know that my food isn't contaminated. I'd like them to have some 'crunchy' foods to help clean their teeth, but if it means brushing their teeth more I will do that. They have a little bit of a packet mix from NUTRO, Natural Choice that has chicken and brown rice in a broth that was mixed with their kibbles of Chicken Soup for pet lovers-senior. Now I guess they will be having more NUTRO plus foods from our healthy table. NUTRO Natural Choice doesn't have any junk in it that I can see. |
