| ![]() Hi I have two babies, Ruby, my yorkie girl who is 5 months old and Jonas, Maltese, who is 9 months old. I got Ruby when Jonas was 6 months old and they are the best of friends. I don't know what they would do without each other. They have never gotten into a fight. They love to snuggle and play. Each has their own very special personality that I love. Now after having two I would never just want one. I know that I have been very blessed with the two that I have and I think that the Maltese and Yorkie make a very great pair, they just seem to go together so very well. Good luck. Debbie |

| ![]() Thanks for sharing Debbie. I love to hear other people's stories. Your correct, I'm so happy that we got another dog, and their two personalities are so perfect for each other. I'm so happy we got Waldo, as these two just love each other to death |

| ![]() Congratulations, Waldo is just so beautiful, gorgeous color, It's just wonderful that both bonded so quickly. I had a pack of 3, all 3 years apart. When I added the 2nd the oldest was 3 y/o, I found it no harder having 2, 3 years later I added a 3rd, to me again I didn't it hard, there was a schedule in place, all lined up for breakfast and dinner, all were sweet loving girls. When it was walk time they all lined up, they knew the order of who got harnessed or coats put on, the 3 pack walk was a diff. story lol, all wanted to be the lead dog, another battle for who was going to be the first to greet their buddies that were behind fences, to me it was fun to watch this. Having 3 all 3 years apart was ideal. When I lost my oldest I was devastated, but I had to stay strong for my other two, they needed me and they were pining for their lost sister, then the 2nd oldest passed 6 months after the first, now I was down to one, the baby who was now 6 y/o. She mourned for 7 months, I HAD to get her a buddy. When I did, my 6 y/o was in love with her instantly. She was so lonely for so many months, she more then appreciated her new sister. To me, having two babies so close in age, yes the play is beautiful to watch, and so much fun for the pups, but when it's their time to leave us, they both go almost at the same time, the pain is double, I personally would not be able to handle that. I now have one little adopted 3 y/o boy,my first boy. I devote all my free time to him.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() They look great together! I used to have a small "pack" when I was younger. I had 2 Min Pins and a Rat Terrier. I loved them all. I now just have my new baby. I'm happy for you and your little guys. |

Perfect story! Yes , I agree, I would have liked them to be about 3 years of age difference between them. It would make it allot easier when it's their time to leave us. We lost our 14-1/2 year old male Yorkie last Feb 17th , 2014. We were devastated , took off 2 days from work, just lost Time went by, and we swore we couldn't do it again because of the pain loosing him, but we felt " empty " without our little buddy by our sides The search was on for a good breeder, when we found Chester. Once we saw how much love and happy the family was again that he bought to us, we started looking several months ago. Between getting Chester, and now, I stumbled along Biewers. Spent hours and hours reading all most every thread and post on the internet about them, about breeders, and learning about the dog. 2 weeks ago when we really started looking, and were ready to get Chester alittle brother, we found Waldo, through a good friend on here Teri. We also got in contact with Sandi, who is a Breeder for Biewers, and a few others, who all put us in contact with Liza, who had Waldo Waldo had someone wanting him in VA, but do to health reasons, when we came along, they decided not to get him . We fell in love with him the minute we saw him, and just had to have him, once we found out his personality was so close to Chester's. These 2 get along so well, and are so much fun to watch playing, I'm so happy for them and us, as our family is now complete ![]() | |
