| Thunder & Terror! We are having a huge thunder/lightning storm and poor Gunner is terrified. He runs from me to daddy back to me again. There is nothing we can do but comfort him. I wonder if one of those tight shirts would help?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I think you mean the Thundershirt - those do work wonders for many dogs. Another thing vets recommend to try is Melatonin 3mg - this can help w/ the anxiety.

| When Mickey gets afraid I wrap him in a small blanket and hold him close. I don't know if that is the correct thing to do or not but he is only 4 months old and it calms him right down.

| Half a Benadryl and the Thundershirt before the storms begin are the only thing that help Bogey. I've been using this for several years and it works the best for us. When it's fireworks I do the same with Pebbles and it works for her as well.
