| New to Forum Hello fellow Yorkie lovers! This is my first time on this forum and I'm stoked to join the yorkie community. I am a proud owner of two toy yorkies and one teacup yorkie. Yes... they are a handful but I love them to death. Anyways I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on their hair on their snout. I want to grow it out cause it keeps poking into my furbabies' eyes. Is there anything I can do to make their hair grow faster? They just look funny right now cause their hair on their snout is sticking up and wont stay down. Thanks! |

| Hi & welcome to YT! I am still growing out the hair above my Phoebe's eyes. It was shaved last year for surgery, and I just need it a tiny bit longer so I can add it to her topknot. It seems like it's taking forever, but I know it's sooo worth it. I use tiny hair clips to keep the hair out of her eyes while it grows.

| I tried letting it grow out too but it was driving ME nuts so I ended up trimming them again. I keep both mine in puppy cuts so I think it looks better too. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT!! Glad you found us . Just a little fyi...there is no such thing as a "teacup" yorkie - this is a term used by unethical breeders to inflate their prices for smaller yorkies and for marketing...the term has done a lot of damage to the breed. A yorkie within standard is ANY yorkie 7lbs or less - that's the only size indicator within the breed.
