| Has anyone's dog ever done this? This morning, at a little after 2, Cricket started barking. I woke up and heard her and I was saying "Cricket Shhh" "it's okay". She came and got up real close to me, and she even seemed to be standing over my throat because I was still laying down. She was still barking.after a little while, She eventually settled back down and we were able to go back to sleep. I was just wondering if anyone elses's dog has done this? Not the barking, but just the way she scooted up REAL close?

| Sounds like your furbaby had a surprise or something scared her. Teasell my Yorkie has to let me know when the postman comes by. Best part of her day |

| Joel will do that if I'm not paying attention good enough He'll put his paws up on my chest and stare at my face until I see what he wants. |

| It sounds like she was scared of something she heard or smelled from outside and was seeking protection from you while at the same time trying to guard you as best she could. Just because they are worried or scared themselves doesn't mean a dog gives up on trying to protect us from whatever it is that spooked them.
