Suddenly sleeping under the bed

My yorkie and pap both do this from time to time. I hate it to. I think mine does it if im restless or if its hot. I has a dog who would do it if a fly came in the house. But my pap has done it if she didnt feel good. Sometimes she will sleep on the floor but get up later in the night. When my babu yorkie does it he sleeps side the bed and looks so pitiful and i will get him. He would go right back down so i put a dog blanket down for him.

I have noticed that Teddy is very hot natured so maybe its a Yorkie thing.


He's also started to hide between two kitchen chairs rather than do as he's told and this is a behavior that is recent.


Not much to add here but agree that you should keep an eye on him to see if he's hiding in the day, otherwise, I agree that he's probably just checking out new scenery..lol

Maybe your baby could not get you awake in time. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Make sure she potties before bedtime and cut off the water an hour before bed. Hopefully it won't happen again. Get up early to let her go potty. You have to set up a kind of routine for her so she is secure and knows that her potty needs will be taken care of.
