| PEE Feet Hi Everyone. I know I can always come here when something comes up with my wee baby Wolfie. He is 8 months old now and amazzzzzzing! I've got him trained to do hit duty on potty pads that I have in my bathroom. He is excellent about using them and only goes there. My problem is now that he is older (and not neutered yet) his pee is much more abundant and smells really strong. He doesn't lift his leg in the house so he basically walks onto the pad, leans forward a bit and pees like a girl dog. The problem is that he then backs off the pad and steps onto the wet pee. His paw or paws end up smelling like pee after that. Any ideas on a way to prevent that? |

| Maybe try the gel pads that stay dry on top.

| Wow THANKS I had no idea about either of these ideas. Do the gel pads really work? Quick drying and no smell. And the wizdog - does the grate smell? I got the potty patch but it was a disaster - the grass got smelly. |

| What are gel pads and where would you get them? Remy is trained strictly on pee pads and that is one issue I have with them is that sometimes after he is done lifting his leg to pee he may step in the pee spot. I just use a non-scented baby wipe to clean his paws. Gel pee pads sound interesting.

| Walmart sells these pads from Hartz Home Protection. They smell like lavender and urine turns to gel when they wet on them. I love them as Mickey likes to wet on the edges of the pad and these absorb and don't leak out the sides. not that expensive either.

These are the ones. KMart sells them, too.here, anyway. Tractor Supply did sell them here. Look for the gold on the package...Home Protection...there are others in a blue pkg but not the gel kind...which are fantastic.
