| Anyone's yorkie not afraid of the vacuum cleaner? Whenever I vacuum, or my husband does, Cricket and Bubba run like a bomb just went off. They will run all the way upstairs under the beds. Are most yorkies like this? |

| Kelsey is pretty good. She keeps her distance and stares at it. Sometimes when she's feeling hyper she'll bark at it....

| I have the half-n-half. Zowie runs for the hills and Bronx insists on jumping and biting at it. He does the same with the LAWNMOWER! He barks and races around it. I have to catch him to put him inside if the yard is to be mowed, which isn't easy because he really wants to get it! At least the vacuum is not so dangerous, I just have to listen to him - he doesn't get so close, but he barks and stays in front of me!

| I've talked to people about this that have other breeds of dogs and I think it is a dog thing, though maybe not every dog. Samson jumps up on the couch and watches but is careful to not let it get too close. |

there is in mankind so it doesn't bother her but I would say (if you have the noisy type vacuum) most do not like it. My friend has two older dogs and they run off and bark like your two. Like people, what frightens me, may not frighten you. What about fireworks, Michelle. I can honestly say I have not heard of many that are not frightened (expect Crystal) lol and she isn't afraid of storms either BUT when my kids were young we had a collie that was so afraid of storms that I had to hold this big dog in my lap while she cried and shivered until it was over ( I have since learned that is not always the best thing to do) Cricket and Bubba, don't be afraid EASY TO SAY, HUH!
