| My Sophie Hello everyone. Newbie here. I have a 2 year old fur baby.Sophie or Sophie Bug is what her name is. She's a very calm quiet little girl. But when she gets excited like when company drops by or when we are playing she fetch she starts making this crazy noise like a goose. Sounds crazy but I have talked to other yorkie owners and they say theres will do the same thing. Is this something I should be concerned about? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT ! Do you mean she sounds like she sort of starts "honking" like a goose? If so, this can sometimes mean there are trachea issues.

| It's probably just reverse sneezing, which is triggered by dogs getting way too excited or doing lots of exercise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dupfGEVLCbM Like your friends told you, it is indeed pretty common among yorkies. |

| Thank you Do you think I need to take her to the vet? She's very healthy and eats well, it's just when she gets excited or running when we play. Kind of scares me. |
