| Where Does Your Yorkie Sleep? Lady will usually nap in her crate during the day but insists on sleeping in bed with me at night. Also today after her morning play time she whined to get picked up and then passed out 1 second later in my arms lol! She is such a cuddle bug! I know I have to crate her when I'm gone but is it okay to just let her sleep with me at night? She is 9 weeks by the way |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It's totally up to you . I didn't let ours sleep w/ us until they were potty trained and new how to get down off the bed and make it to the pad. Once that happened, they slept w/ us. We have 3 sleeping w/ us and it's awesome .

| I got Lily at 12 weeks and kept her in her crate at night until she was 16 weeks. She now sleeps in bed with us at night. Lily was so little I was afraid she would fall off my bed. Once she learned how to use our stairs and got a little bigger we allowed her in the bed. Also she is about 95% potty pad trained. I did not want her having accidents in my bed.

| I usually put her down on the pad once or twice if she starts stirring in her sleep. I make her sleep on my arm like I do my babies so I can keep track of her lol! |

| There are 3 here as well. Mina sleeps between our pillows with Tilly beside her. One of them usually finds my arms during the night. Kenzie likes to be by my knees or in daddy's arms. |

YorkieTalk Newbie! | We keep all of our 3 dogs in the crate overnight. I take our new 8 1/2 week guy out in the middle of the night. Just in case we have a baby puppy crate with one area for our Yorkie to sleep and an area he can go to with a puppy pad for potty if he really can't wait for me. After a week or so he seems to like to do most of his potty on the grass outside. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | LOL ! It's amazing, isn't it, just how much room these tiny little ones can take up? We have a king bed, but still...they somehow take up a lot of room!

| Ripley doesn't sleep during the day. Its play all day. DH is home during the day and they play fetch most of the day. At night, she sleeps above my head. I'm used to it now...at first..ugh. She refuses to sleep beside me. No matter how many times I put her down beside me...she sneaks back up. Those surprise paws to the eye in the middle of the night are real fun too.

| Maui sleeps on my bed at night. During the day he takes naps in his crate. If he could jump on my bed he'd probably sleep there instead.

| Gizmo just started sleeping with me. He has to sleep on my stomach and if I lay on my side he has to be touching my stomach or back. I have moved away from him while he's sleeping to see if he would stay there and nope... he moves so he's touching me. I'm normally a side sleeper but with him I stay on my back as long as possibe. Sometimes when I'm on my side he will lay on my other side. It's kind of funny to watch him balance himself until he finds a spot without falling off cuz I'm only 5 feet and petite. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Laila, she sleeps in the bed with us at night. I had to make it where he gets in her little bed during the day while I am working because if not she would sleep in our bed all day. She is a lazy bum. She sleeps all the time. I guess she is growing but gosh. She knows now that we stay on the ground during the day and at night we can get in the bed. She was 6 months when we got her and I guess she understands you do not pee where you sleeps so she has never used the bathroom she will let you know if she has to go.

| Sophie likes to sleep on my arm right up close to my face. She is a real snuggle bug. My husband has a bad back and sometime will get up at night and lay on the sofa when his back is bothering him if he stays out there to long she will go out and lay on the sofa with him. When they come back to bed she snuggles up as close as possible to me and falls to sleep. In the morning she will get up and potty on the pad and then comes back to bed to wake us both up. I have never had a yorkie before but I love her dearly. |

| My girls usually sleep in a pack-n-play beside my bed and my baby boy sleeps in the kennel beside them. I wouldn't dare put him in with them. I would never get any sleep! lol The girls do sleep with me every once in a while. Ally is usually near my stomach, cuddled close, and Tia, by my feet. |
