We started Baxter out in a crate... kept it ON the bed between us and I had my hand in the crate. Then we graduated to have the doggie bed on the bed with us. At this point (3 years later) he is an "equal opportunity snuggler" and shares his time with all the family off and on all night long! In a nutshell - where does my yorkie sleep? Anywhere he desires! (and only sleeps in his bed during the day when we are all in the room with him) |
Lambeau slept in his crate til he was about 6 months old...now he sleeps with us in our king size platform waterbed. We were very worried that he would try to leap out, but he seems to understand that it's long way down and has never tried to get down on his own. He usually 'flops' down snug against my back, but if it's cold he worms his way under the covers. He wakes me with a gentle paw on my face and a soft woof to let me know it's time to get up and start our day. |
Cookie sleeps in her bed in her cage at night. Ensures she can't get into any trouble. |
My husband says Wall-e allows us to sleep in his bed lol! He likes to sleep in between us. He only wakes me up if he has to potty, he doesn't bother my husband. Even if hubby gets up in the middle of the night, Wall-e won't potty until I get up too! |
My bed! Where else?! lol. I actually get offended when he decides to sleep on the floor. |
In our bed where she belong. |
Gina likes to sleep in either of her crates, each with a bed and two blankets, no she's not spoiled, but at night she sleeps in the smaller crate in our room with her dragon, has to have her dragon. She will sleep on the couch or bed sometimes but she really prefers her dens. I'd love for her to sleep with us in the bed, but she always has to have the last word on bedtime, she's 15 months now. Cheers Quad & Gina:aimeeyork |
I sleep on my stomach and Lacey sleeps on the small of my back if the spot is vacant. My Maine Coon cat also thinks that is her spot to sleep, too. I have woken to Lacey barking at the cat to get her to move and it usually works. Lacey is extremely jealous of the cat and does not like to share. |
A creature of habit Crystal stays with Dad in his room in the evenings, as he watches TV late (early hours). Sometimes she's there all night (as he falls asleep watching it!). If not, when he decides to put the room to sleep, she gives him a goodnight kiss and trips off to sleep with Mom:). |
Sheldon sleeps anywhere and everywhere during the day...he just kind of plops down and goes to sleep wherever he is when he gets tired. Lol. He sleeps in his crate with a fluffy bed at night. |
Tibbe sleeps with me but very occasionally will switch to his bed for a while for some reason during the night. |
My two year old sleeps in bed with me unless he's too warm . My new fur baby sleeps in her crate next to the bed, but she did end up in bed with us last night. Her dad got woken up with her nibbling his nose! |

Sammie sleeps in the kitchen. He is not potty trained yet. When he is maybe with my daughter. But she is still in school and I don't want him to think he can play all night with her and disturb her sleep. I had two dogs sleep with me for 16 year and I said I would never do it again. Never got one nights sleep. Up down, up down!! |
