| ![]() I brought two baby boys home on the same day, December 15, 2004. I went to the breeder's house at 10 am to pick them up. They were bounding all over her livingroom like little bunny rabbits and I tried to listen as she gave me all the detailed instructions on each puppy and which one ate what and had had what shots and which was neutered and which was allergic to Albon, what to do if they have a hypoglcemia attack, etc., etc. Luckily it was all written down because I couldn't take my off off these precious little babies that were coming home with me!!! The breeder gave me a carrier, a puppy purse, food, toys, treats, an emergency package with food syringes and the like, pedialyte and the albon for one of them. it was little over whelming but I was ready. My youngest daughter was home from school sick so she was the first to see them although I wouldn't let her hold them because of her illness. They were only 10 and 12 weeks at the time. I set up the food area and the pee pee pads and we just sat there and watched them play and sleep. We spent hours thinking of names and seeing which one they "looked" like. We took them out to Petco later to buy beds, toys, and a playpen. They slept the whole time. I kept haing to check to be sure they were breathing. They slept in the playpen next to my bed that night and didn't wake up 'til morning except to potty which they did on the pad in their playpen. It was truly an exciting day as yours will be. Can't wait to hear all about it! Last edited by SoCalyorkiLvr; 03-17-2005 at 10:23 PM. |
