1 Attachment(s) Ok.. thanks for clearing up the ads thing... I was just curious. I am guilty of thinking there were "teacups" before joining this forum and another forum I visit regulary... I've learned so much from both. I have a "very small" chihuahua that most everyone still labels "teacup"....it doesn't bother me much. The lady charged the same as she did the bigger pups. |
I didnt get over charged for Lady being small either (she is 2lbs at 2 years old),I guess I was lucky because now 2 years later smaller seems to be more expensive everywhere. Is that your chihuahua in the picture? If so,he is adorable!!!:) |

Yes, that is my little Callie... she's a mess. She gives my yorkies a hard time believe it or not. Don't let her size fool ya! lol I was EXTREMELY careful with them playing when I first got her, but now I have to protect the yorkies from Callie!!! lol Here are a few more pics of her... |

We just have to remember the old bumper sticker "I see stupid people". It doesn't mean we have to be one. I find my 10# yorkies are the most huggable size of all. Of course, all my friends and visitors love Robbie because she is so tiny, but she mostly loves me. I will hand one of the boys to them, and from then on - everytime they come over they will ask to hold him, and hold him the entire time they are here. (well, they really are huggable and adorable.) |
wow! She IS tiny! I know what you mean about not letting her size fool you though lol.Lady thinks shes a rotweiler when we go out. How old is Callie? She looks about the same size as Lady.. I LOVE the first picture!!! :D |

People use the "babydoll face" term here too,it means a very short button nosed snout (does it mean the same in the us?).Iv seen websites where they use it too and its also a term that ups the price:thumbdown I must agree that sometimes these terms can make these yorkies sound like a breed all on their own or more "special" which isnt fair. My poor Jess has a looooong snout and is no where near being a "dwarf" or "teacup" lol,and to me she is just as special. The great thing about yorkies is that each one is different and unique:) I love em all:) |
