| Usually to switch foods it is recommended to make the transition to the new food slowly. Did you switch her slowly? I would think that changing to the new food could have caused a loose stool. How long have you had her? How old is she?

| Quick diet change can cause upset tummies, causing diarrhea. Switching foods should be gradually done over 5-7 days. But they don't always eat it, they'll pick out the new & leave the old, they're smart! You can give her a bland diet of plain pumpkin & boiled chicken breast, it should help settle her tummy. Then you can add little bit of the new food. If the diarrhea continues, I would take her to the vet, as they can get dehydrated & puppies can go downhill quickly. Hope she'll feel better soon!

| when changing foods as other members have written it is to be done slowly, over a period of no less the 7 days. Depending on how much you feed her for example say you feed her 1/2 cup total daily of wet food, feed one teaspoon less of old food, mix in one teaspoon new food, the next day, feed 2 teaspoons less add 2 teaspoons new food, and so on. If it's dry food I count the amount of kibbles of old food, take out 5 replace with 5 new kibbles, the next day I will take out 10 old food, replace with 10 new kibbles,3rd day I take out 15 old food and replace with 15 new kibbles, and so on, I stretch it out to 10 days to make it eaiser on their digestive system, but that's me. Amount of old food decrease and amount of new foods depends on how much food per day is feed. My dog eats one cup a day, I give him 1/2 in the morning and the other half at night, when changing food, what ever he eats in the morning he gets the same amount at night.

| I hear of a lot of runny stool and GI problems with BB, honestly. So it could've been from the cold turkey switch but it also could possibly be from the BB.
