| Canidae Food What do you know about Canidae food? I noticed one of our local stores started to carry it. It looked pretty good but I just wasn't sure. What do you think?

| I fed my yorkies Canidae All Stages Of Life for many years and my dogs really liked it. My vet sells it. I quit using it and started feeding Chicken Soup For The Puppy Lover's Soul dry food because it was easier to get it and I felt the foods were comparable. You should give the Canidae a try.

| I used Canidae for years, the dogs did well on it, even our senior Boxer who had a very sensitive stomach. Back then it was a pain in the pattatooie to get - I make a 60 mile round trip to pick it up. Then they changed the formula and raised the price and it seemed like every time I bought a bag the formula was slightly different and the price was raised. So I gave up on the Canidae and started feeding Taste of the Wild. I know that TOTW are Diamond Dog Food brands, but I have had such good luck with TOTW. I've tried several other premium dog foods, but the girls either didn't do well on them or didn't like them. I am still thinking about changing to the Farmina, but I don't want to get started on another food, fall in love with it and then the formula change. |

| I always fed the all stages of life. I don't think they have a separate puppy food. I think the RC has corn in it and Canidae does not. Whatever you switch her to you will need to do it slowly.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I was giving their cat food to Guildenstern. He loved it. But I am changing over because I want it to be grain free and no fish. I think it is a good food

| We loved the Canadae for our sensitive Wheaten Terrier, It was one of the first I could get with lots of probiotics in it, and all the dogs loved it. It was expensive (to feed a big dog) and I found the TOTW and then Earthborn Holistics . |

| Canidae all the way at my house. No itchy feet, no runny eyes and they all love it! I typically order online, but it can be bought locally here.

| Well they didn't have the puppy food so I went with Orijen puppy instead. We are going to slowly try Lily out on it. We were able to buy a sample bag for only a few dollars so we will see how it goes. Thanks for the info!

| I fed Canidae to my last Shep/Lab and Felidae (same company) to my kitties many years ago. I ordered it through the breeder supply I shop at. I haven't read the ingredients in a while, and the Yorkies have never had Canidae, but I really liked it at the time. Eventually the kitties and the doggie wanted something new and we moved on...LOL...but at the time, they got kibble and canned food...both the kitties and the doggie. The Yorkies have not had Canidae, but have had Orijen...they liked the first flavor fine...chicken and fish...but didn't like the red meat flavor much at all. Again, I was getting it from the breeder supply...both locations carry both brands now, if we decide to go back to it.

| No...right now, the kibble is Acana. I bought a bunch of the 'trial size' to see what they liked, and we settled on that flavor. The Orijen...I had to buy quite a large quantity each time, so when they quit eating it, we had a substantial amount left...which got mixed into the new chosen kibble...don't remember what that one was...by trickster Mommy. They get additional foods, too...not just kibble. But, I would feed Orijen again...they just kind of quit eating the red meat one with buffalo, etc., so we changed. I gave the kitties Orijen then, too. I try to get the 'cleanest' food possible to feed them, and they...all of my kids...are 'spoiled' and 'know' if they balk too long at a food, Mommy will go shopping for something else. LOL
