YT 500 Club Member | Whats Your Favorite Food To Feed Your Dog Hello, so the breeder had Sammi on purina and I want to get him on a good food. He does itch a lot and he has his tick and flea medicine on so I don't think it is fleas. What would you suggest for a good quality food? I hear so many food have had recalls, Blue Buffalo, Nuro Natural, Iams, etc... |

| Teddy started on Purina as a pup and was in great shape at 8 months. I switched him to Fromm Chicken a la veg because my other boy eats it. Where is your pup itching? All over? How does Sammi's skin look?

| I have been using Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Hypoallergenic food for Pebbles who was always itching. It's been a life saver to her. I now have all 3 on it and they are doing very well. It is an RX food that I purchase from the vet but I had tried all the Limited Ingredient foods out there. You could try switching to Natural Balance Limited Ingredient. They have many different varieties and they are all guaranteed so if they don't work out you can return them for a different formula. Petco and Petsmart take returns on opened bags of food. I really like the Royal Canin Yorkshie Terrier formula but RC doesn't come in a LI food.
