| Suggestions for a car seat! Hi everyone! I need some suggestions on a good car seat where you can use the seat belt ONLY. No headrest or console. Thank you!

| Those just go right on the seat and buckle in with the seatbelt? Where would I find one?

| I've seen them on amazon. I had a snoozer-type seat for Huey, but it wasn't deep and he seemed to feel insecure on it. He wouldn't sit up if the car was moving, like he was scared he would fall off. I replaced it with a baxket-type (like he used to have) and he loves it. Nice and deep. I know those require a headrest, but there are snoozers that are deeper than the one I had. Remember, no car seat will prevent your baby from becoming a projectile in wreck unless he is secured firmly with a harness to something immoveable, like the actual seat of the car. The little straps on the car seats are flimsy and IMO, wouldn't even slow him down in a collision. I love having the car seat, though, because it allows Huey to see out of the window, preventing motion sickness, and it keeps him in one place. It scares me to see little dogs hanging out of the driver's window going down the road. It could cause a wreck as they climb all over the driver, and an open window is just crazy-turn a sharp corner and bye bye pup. I'm glad you are looking for a car seat.
