YT 500 Club Member | Going To Look A Yorkie Pups This Weekend Okay so I am going to look at 5 puppies. 4 males and a female. My daughter wants the female but I think its best to pick the one that you feel comfortable with. So I am not even going to tell her which one the female is. How do you make that decision when there are so many to choice from. Any opinions? Thanks |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I honestly think you just know...like it just comes to you in a way. I bet you or she will feel a little bond w/ one or 2 of them. Let us know how it goes!

| Make sure your buying the breeder first and the the breeder seems ok before even looking at the pups.

| Lovetodream is right! After you see the pups (unless you are stronger than the majority of us) it's too late. Be prepared to fall absolutely in love in 0-10 seconds. Do your research now before you go! Best of luck to you and keep us posted!

YT Addict | Don't necessarily pick the one that picks you. look around and find the one that is the middle of the road as far as socialability. Pick up each one and check them out, see how they react to you. You will know which one has the personality that matches what you are looking for. |

| I really like the following thread about how to evaluate temperament. Good luck finding your baby. I agree with Taylor and the others about finding a reputable breeder. It makes all the difference in the world. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pup...ant-puppy.html

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | For me my choices of pups have been limited to which puppy of the show promise spoke to me? And yes it is a kind of jumbled up mixture of what temperament the puppy is showing me, and I know the kind of temperament I want, and how the puppy is responding to me. And given the above, indeed my heart just knew which one I wanted. And it has been so far a wise choice
