Same thing in Italy. My pups have lovely full tails that curl over their backs in a very elegant manner. Docking takes away some of the charm.

I was walking Bentley today and we popped into a garage sale. A woman say Bentley and asked if he was a Yorkie. Obviously I answered yes. She then asked, in almost a derogatory way, why I didn't have his tail cut. I told her that I love my dog with the tail he was born with and couldn't imagine cutting it. It was a little snarky, I admit, but I don't think the dirty look she gave me was deserved

Yeah! Everybody is an expert out there. I was yelled at once by the local loudmouth who claimed that yorkies shouldn't have their hair up in topknots as it was made to cover their eyes for protection. Yuck!
