| Flea Meds Hi all, I'm new to this forum as I just adopted a 5 year old 5 pound Yorkie named, you guessed it, Bella. I just recently removed a tick from her (our back yard is wooded) and I'd like to apply topical flea & tic med. I purchased meds from the petsmart vet (since our vet stopped selling it) and when I tried to apply it (by parting the hair between her shoulder blades) her hair simply absorbed everything added. Instead of it going to her skin, it was distributed throughout her coat which I eventually had to wash out because it reached a point she could lick on her front quarters. Has this happened to anyone else, any tips on how to apply these meds? (Btw, her hair is really short |

| I'm pretty sure that it's getting on the skin as it should, just might be excess on the hair? But I find it normal that it soaks in the hair some, just don't put so much on that it's gonna drizzle and use recommended amount for the body weight. *meh had to readjust my comment XD lol
