| Maybe one of your friends or relatives could baby-sit the puppy for you a little as a break, too. No-one is perfect, and being pregnant can be very tiring. If you wanted this dog for so long, give him a chance to show you what a good mommy you can be for all of them. do you ever watch 'the dog whisperer' on the National Geographic channel. I just love that show, and get lots of good ideas from him.

What I meant was since it didn't work in this situation, I don't think it's likely to work with a different dog in this same situation. Sorry.

| I just wanted to share my 2 cents: In the short 7 wks I was pg, my dog went nuts. I think he could totally sense that I was pg and began rebelling. He is 100% potty trained but during that time he had quite a few accidents, which I don't think were accidents at all . Since the pg he has returned to normal and hasn't had a single accident since. I wish you the best of luck w/ fixing this problem or finding him a new home. If we didn't work so much I would take him in a heart beat!!

| Well I would like to say congratulations on your baby-to-be!! But I do think that animals can since when someone is with child. When I was pregnant with all three of my kids my great dane stayed by my side all the time. If I would move around she would follow right at my side. I think that animals know a lot more than we think they do. And it may not be that he is mad at you about the baby, there could be an underlining problem here. He may have something wrong chemically. Have you talked with your vet about this? I also hope that you really do lots of research into your new adoptive yorkie family before you give him up. There are lots of loving families out there. But as a member of the humaine society I can tell you that there are many of mean, cruel people out there as well. Good luck with all of this!!! If there is anything I can do please let me know.. - Heather

| I just wanted to say that your dog doesn't hate you, but I know how you feel. The week after bringing my dog home I lost it. I hadn't slept well and I was tired and stressed and he just kept biting me and I was sure he hated me. I was ready to give him back to the breeder, but instead I decided to sleep on it. The next morning I decided to give it a little more time and things have been much better. I would say he might be testing you. You have to show him you are the boss such as if it's bath time he gets a bath period. Also maybe try taking him outside instead of the potty pads. I think it's better that you crate him when you get frustrated and mad instead of taking it out on him. Also my pup used to jump from me too and I would just hold him and make him wait til I put him down. not all of dogs are cuddle bugs and you might just have to accept that. My baby likes to be near me, but he doesn't like me to touch him. They each have their own personalities. Oh another thing my dog used to have more accidents during my time of the month before he was neutered so they can definitely sense a change in your body chemistry. I would say give it a week maybe try and have someone babysit the dog so you can have some time away. He does not hate you he's just confused has to what you want right now. The two of you will figure out how to communicate with each other. And if you decide to rehome him I wish you the best of luck.

| Even though I got Jake through that route. I would suggest the rescue ting also. I couldn't imagine knowing his personality being with someone who is not going to give him the attention he wants and needs. Let me know if shipping is an option. I may be willing to take. |
