| Crates Pens or Both Homer is just 8 weeks old . He is in a crate in the livingroom. He goes in when he is tired by himself, when he just wants to play in his bed or at night for bed. During the day My daughter leaves the crate door open if they are home and have pee pads just outside of the crate. He sometimes makes it to the pads or he will just stop and pee or poo on the floor When they are at work he is in the crate and at night. He pees and poos in the crate. I know he is too young to hold it til morning or all day . Last night he slept from 9:30 to 5:30 am and did not wake us. He did poo and pee on the pad in his crate. My question is about pens . Does anyone use them and put the crate inside the pen and leave the door open to the crate so he can go to the pads. or are the pens too big for inside the house. They have a small living room. All I see on the internet are large wire pens. If anyone has a photo of their setup I would love to see it Fran |

| I didn't think they would pee and poo in their beds! Mine never did. Of course, she got me uop at least twice in the night and I was outside yelling Go Potty at all hours of the night. Thank goodness that is all over with! Maybe you should set an alarm and take him to the pad or outside, wichever and then put him back. Pat |
