| Anyone using C.E.T. Aquadent? Does anyone use CET Aquadent water additive? I know it contains Xylitol, which is toxic to dogs, but from the research I've been doing it's safe if used according to the directions. Our vet has also recommended it. I do brush our "kids" teeth, although not as often as I should & use a tarter control enzymatic toothpaste. Thanks for your input. Last edited by Elkd3; 06-15-2014 at 02:31 PM. |

| I personally would not use any product containing xylitol.

| I use C.E.T vanilla mint toothpaste, I think it tastes like a treat to them. I wouldn't use Aquadent because of the xylitol but also because you need to add it to water. Your yorkie will become accustomed to that flavor in his water and might not drink water anymore without it.

| No way would I use any amount of any product with Xylitol. Co-worker didn't realize her kids had gum with it and her little chi died a horrific death from that one piece of gum
