What do your Yorkies drink?

Have you tried ice cubes? I think they also have popsicles for dogs.

Mine love orange juice,apple juice,chocolate milk (in small amounts) and regular milk with a little sugar.Iv never given them a whole glass of any of this (obviously lol) but I do give them a spoon full of the drinks they like when I have it.Its like a treat really,never something I use to replace water.I dont think milk is good for them as a regular drink,it can give them diarrea.Your baby should be drinking water.Have you tried a seringe? I used to have to force feed Lady water as a pup because she didnt seem interested in water either.The breeder had always given her water with a vitamin suppliment in it so it was sweet,so obviously when she came to us she didnt like water on its own.I would deffinately stop giving her milk all the time though.

also too much dairy can cause Pancriatious in the long run. Best to keep it at a minimum.

Tigger drinks water, but if I'm having a beer (shiner, or bud light) I'll put a little on my finger and Tigger will lick it right off!!! But I don't have beer very often because I live in a dry county so it's hard to find.

I THINK you're allowed to give puppies Pedialite or a little Gatorade if they're not eating/drinking so they don't go into a hypoglycemic shock. I never had to give that. I just give water. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

PS. Also, isn't coffee (caffeine) bad for doggies?

Yes it is that why my girl was to sneak it if I am not watching close.
She loves coffee a great deal and she got to steal it to get it.

Can't imagine that caffine would be good for the hyper little buggers!

Regular milk will upset their systems, and I DO KNOW that chocolate isn't good for them, so I would watch that. Especially if its a tiny!!!

Yes, he's spoiled and will only eat ceasars! spoiled buggar! Its wet and covered in grravy but he when he's given milk, he drinks loads compared to when he's given water.

It's funny b/c I STILL haven't found a wet food that Baby gobbles. I bought her Ceasars today just to try it. She had a little, but didn't scarf it. O well. The reason I asked about the wet food is b/c I know that when they eat dry they drink more water. Maybe that's why Baby drinks a lot. Hence, she pees a lot! LOL

Baby Blessing isn't drinking as much water as she should be, I have to coax her to drink. We put her on Arrowhead drinking water when we got her as that is what we drink. She is now 14 weeks. I meant to ask the Vet tuesday when she was in for her shot but I forgot. Really glad she is sleeping at nights and eating good (sometimes with coaxing there too) thankful she is gaining good and very active and playfull. I notice when she does drink on her own is when she is playing hard and knows she needs it Appreciate any suggestion on how I can get her to drink more water on her own. Thanks.

When we got our feeding guide with Smudger we were told NEVER to give him milk as it gives yorkies the runs, so he has never had it. He drinks water and nothing else. I also never give him any human food as my mums yorkie has had 3 teeth fall out because of her diet he gets his dog food and that is it.

I also don't like him to eat human food as that will encourage him to beg. My mums yorkie will growl and bark under the table at my mums, where as smudger does not show an interest when we are eating because he knows no different.

Oh Alona just thought I would tell you asda do a milk especially for dogs, I don't know whether it is good for them or not but I suppose it's better than our milk. It's in the dog food aisle (obviously lol) and it's 58p for a carton
