| What are some things you do... that signals to your dog(s) that you're going out, even when you're not? Whenever I grab my wallet, they all come running. Whenever my Dad puts on his dentures, Momo starts barking. He knows that means my Dad is going out!

| Whenever I put on socks or pants haha Teddy gets so excited and thinks we are walking. And he knows it's going to be a good long walk if both me and the BF get our sneakers and sunglasses on It's kind of cool to think about how our dogs study and learn our behavior just like we do theirs. And they are probably much better at interpreting our body language and actions! |

| When I fold up the throw and begin to straighten the the pillows on the couch in the den, he knows I'm getting ready to leave. The final dead give-away to him is when I turn off the TV and put the remote down on the end table.

| Me too. It's shoes. But I don't get it, because I like to wear shoes all the time, not just when I leave. Somehow they know the difference.

| I swear Lola knows before I do. Going out is her favorite thing so she's always looking for the slightest clue. I can't say go, going, shopping, or some store names without her jumping around and barking at me, telling me to COME ON! She also gets excited when I put on jeans or shoes or touch my purse. |

| Love the dentures story. It's shoes at my house too. Poor Barney used to run and hide under the bed when he saw anyone put their shoes on. He was trying to avoid being put in the play pen.

| LOL, Momo and your dad's dentures!! Too cute. Teddy isn't convinced he is going out until grandpa puts his baseball cap on. Then he gets excited.

| Wall-e knows the difference between me getting dressed for work, or getting dressed for anything else. He leaves me alone and mostly ignores me when I dress for work, but if I'm staying home or just going to run errands, he's all over me. I have sweats that I wear around the house and those clothes seem to relax him, he knows I'll be around for a while and he won't be left home alone. So funny!

YT 1000 Club Member | My guys are clairvoyant. All I have to do is think about it. I'm absolutely serious ! I don't know how they pick up on it, but I only have to be sitting there and thinking about going to the Grocery or wherever, and here they come.

| I know exactly what you mean! Max and Teddy can read my mind when I start thinking about errands or taking them out. We can be playing fetch and they will come sit in front of me, cocking their heads, waiting for the magic words. Maybe I have a look on my face, a tell sign.

| For me it's my jeans and sneakers, as soon as Cody sees I have on jeans & sees me putting on my sneakers he knows I am going & he is staying and gets all depressed looking. I thought I had the only dog that did this lol. It's amazing how they know the difference between what you wear in the house & what you wear when you're going out.
