| Bath yesterday...dandruff today Cerulean got his first bath last night and today I'm noticing dandruff and lots of it. Did I do something wrong? It wasn't there prior to yesterday so I'm wondering if the shampoo I used is the culprit or maybe I didn't rinse well enough. If it is a rinse problem do I rinse him again or just wait until his next bath? I honestly think it was the cheap shampoo I bought so since I used Mane and Tail conditioner I'm going to get the shampoo as well. I've read about the fish oil stuff but since this just came about after a bath I truly think that's the culprit. Sorry for all the questions I'm still getting the hang of this. |

| I would definitely rinse him again. I also make sure I use a really gentle shampoo.

| The shampoo I used said it was a puppy formula. Should I wash him again or just rinse him? |

| I would rinse him very well in warm water & put some conditioner on him. Then rinse very well again, skip the shampoo. If you don't have any doggie conditioner, you should get some & just use human conditioner for now.

| Don't feel bad. The same thing happened with Max. I bought a oatmeal shampoo for puppies. I posted on here about dry flakes These amazing peeps told me it was the oatmeal shampoo! I got a high end shampoo and conditioner. Poof! Flakes gone so it really can be the oatmeal |

| I rinsed him as told, reconditioned him and then rinsed him again for about 2 minutes. I don't think he liked all the rinsing. Once he was partly dry I rubbed a drop of coconut oil into his coat...no more dry fluffy look. He has a bit of shine and looks so handsome. Thanks For helping you guys are awesome! |
