| Red bump from a tick I pulled a tick of Milo a few days ago and now it's a red bump that he has started to lick like crazy. Is that normal? I have pulled them off him before but don't remember him licking it like that.

| Yes and it probably itches like crazy. I would keep in eye on it though incase it gets any bigger or starts to look weird or infected.

Teddy had a couple of really big bumps from tick bites. I think they looked huge because they were on the thinnest part of his leg. The vet looked at them and said they would heal in 2 weeks. He was right. I cleaned them with a dab of rubbing alcohol and then put organic coconut oil on them, which I think helped a little with the itchiness.

| We use Frontline, but only about 3 months out of the year. I pulled a tick off my head on the way home from the park this afternoon!!! I think that I picked it up working in our yard earlier today.
