| Limping :( I came home on Thursday and found that my baby Cuddles was limping on her back leg. She has suffered injuries on the same back leg before and was wondering if that could be the cause. I'm taking her to the vet hopefully on Tuesday. I've been stretching her leg too and she doesn't seem to be bothered by it too much. She still won't put any weight on it. Do any of u guys know what the problem might be? It would be greatly appreciated. Thx |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It's impossible to say what it is - could be LP, sprain, mild pull, something in her paw, hip problem, ankle problem...you get the picture. No way to Dx a dog via the internet...especially by us non-vets . Glad you're taking her to the vet.

| I agree-- could be many things, knees, soft tissue injury, torn ligament or just a boo boo. Let your vet guide you, Tuesday will be here before you know it.

| Charlie has knee problems. I know how stressful it is when you see your baby limping around. Best to take her to the vet so they can tell you what the problem is. Good luck. |

| It definitely needs to be looked at by a vet and I would try to get her in Monday because limping mean it hurts.

| Yep. It could even be Lyme, too.

| I would've liked to take her in Monday but since we live about an hour away from civilization we fit the vet visit into our schedule. Also, our vet is family so we also get free vet service. We like to come in when their schedule is free of appointments. Also I know many stretches that have been helping her. |

| Cuddles has went to the vet! She had ex rays done and nothing came up. They said she probably just pulled a little muscle. She is on pain medication now and is doing great! She is using her leg and back to her silly self |

| Did they check for LP? That doesn't show up on an X-ray.
