| I am curious to know how many people sleep with their yorkie babies? And did you put them in bed with you from the beginning or wait til they are potty trained? Thanks, Amy |

| My Max sleeps with with us from day 1. I have some disposal belly bands so we don't have any accidents. He cried in his crate. Even if I put him far from us I could still hear him. He is14 weeks now and sleeps throught the night |

| Max chose to sleep in his xpen next to my bed until he was a year old. One very cold morning, I picked him up and put him in my bed. He decided to sleep with me from that day forward. Teddy was about the same age when he started sleeping in the bed. He had to have Max's approval. If you are worried about potential potty problems, I would put a water-proof cover on your mattress.

| Until I knew Tibbe wouldn't potty in my bed, I put him in his hardshell airline carrier nights and put that on one side of the bed and he was happy sleeping "with" me. Within a couple of days, as he was an older dog when I got him, he was sleeping under he covers with me and has ever since. My late Scotty and Jilly both slept with me, too, as have all of my other dogs that wanted to.

| Lola spent the first few days in a clear (open) tote on my bed. After I knew she wouldn't pee she started sleeping with me, she was 14-15 weeks. My poodle slept with me too, I'm not sure how old she was when she started but I know she was young. |

| Puff has slept with me from the beginning. Every night when the kids go to bed she will go in their rooms with them for 20-30 minutes, then she comes to be with me for the rest of the night. Luke, my Cavalier, has also always slept with me.

| ZoE started sleeping in my bed when she was 6 weeks and 3 days old, and she's been there ever since. She has never gone potty on my bed, but she has puked on it a couple of times.

| I started off crate training Finn, I had his crate next to my bed and it was going well. One night this winter the furnace stopped working and as it was -30C temps that night I brought him into bed under the cover to keep him warm. The rest is history, he now sleeps on my pillow with his paws in my hair most nights, but on the really cold ones he snuggles on down with me and the blankets and gets nice and cozy warm. |

| My two sleep with us. And I plan on Lily being in bed with us too when she is potty trained.

| Thanks for all the replies. I have a Sherpa lined small crate where Pluto has been sleeping this past week. He doesn't cry at bedtime so he is good....but I kinda want him in bed to snuggle with. He is still so young, 7 wks, so I am thinking he should probably be a little older before I let him share the bed with me and his miniature schnauzer sister. Amy |

| As soon as my pups were able to jump on and off sofas, chairs and bed, that's when they slept with me.

| And that brings up another concern....I think I would hear him wake up but if I didn't, he would fall a long way. I don't want that happening! |
