| New to forum Hi Everyone I am new to the Yorki world. I am trying to find a puppy and or adopt or rescue.....Its not as easy as you would think. I just lost my beloved dachshund in January....I am retired and looking for a great little companion dog. I will take her everywhere with me....any help in finding my next little baby will be appreciated. Also I am looking forward to learning more and more about the breed. Patti |

| Welcome to YT, sooo sorry about the loss of your lil dachshund. You have selected a awesome breed to be your next buddy. It's wonderful you are looking to rescue. There are yorkie rescue shelter's, I can't help you out with that, but soon you will get a ton of help with your request. YT is the best site to learn much about this breed. Just ask away. Good luck in your quest to find that lil furbaby, there are so many looking for their furever home. Bless you. (I recently adopted a 3 y/o lil boy, precious, naughty, smart, loving lil critter lol)

| Welcome. I am so sorry for you loss. We would be happy to answer any questions you have. The best place to start if wanting to get a pup from a breeder would be the ytca.org. If you want to rescue one you might want to try petfinder.com
