If she were my dog and I couldn't get her to the vet, I'd try giving her a little honey and then some chicken breast or something.

She's not gloomy, she's sick.

You really should at least call a vet.

Has she eaten anything the last couple of days?
Will she lick water off of your fingers?

This is more than hypoglycemia. Lethargy, pale gums, heavy breathing -- this is very serious and life-threatening.

I do agree with ShowgirlLola's suggestion to call the vet or a family friend and try to have them implore your parents to bring your pup in to see the doctor.

I agree, it is more than hypoglycemia, but I think it's a contributing factor.

when I pick her up or she s laying down it sounds like her nose is stuffed up

not water but what about yogurt with some honey? since she didn't eat alot

Idk if yogurt is ok, some dogs don't handle milk products well. Defiantly don't give it to her if it has artificial sweeteners.

Call your regular vet or look up ER vets in your area.

Has she been spayed? It could be she is coming in season if not. I would also suggest taking her to the vet. She looks small and they can go down very quickly. If she isn't eating try boiling a skinless chicken breast and mixing small pieces of it with plain white rice. Also you might have your parents come online so they could see how very important it is that she be vetted. Praying for her.

There are no free national veterinary hotlines--they all charge money to ask questions. However, you can look up veterinarians in your local yellow pages and you might be able to get one of them to answer some basic questions and convince your parents to take your dog to the vet. If you can take your dog to the vet on your own, or get a friend to take you, by all means do that. There is something definitely wrong with your dog, and it needs to be seen by a professional.

For the most part, vets/vet techs will only do phone consults/calls with their current and regular clients. Do you have a vet for her?

Also, what is the deal w/ the parents, what is stopping them from taking her, money? Since you're an adult, is the barrier bc this is actually their dog and not yours? Or.....?
