She needs to see the vet right now. Yes, you should be worried. I would get in the car right now. |
Take her to the vet NOW. |

I will! |
You need to take her to the vet now, this is not something we can help with. She needs to be seen to determine the problem. |
This is an emergency. Keep us posted. |

It sounds like she could be hypoglycemic, you could try rubbing her gums with nutrical, karo, corn syrup, honey, etc. Then try to get some protein in her or she'll crash again. I still think she'll need a vet, but it may help. Can you call someone to take her to the vet? Or you could call the vet, tell them what's going on, and ask them to tell you parents she needs to be seen. |

She needs to see a vet, ASAP. Is she eating? When was the last time she ate? What do you mean she is breathing 'harder', exactly? What do you think is the barrier for your parents being willing to get her help? |

If she were my dog and I couldn't get her to the vet, I'd try giving her a little honey and then some chicken breast or something. She's not gloomy, she's sick. You really should at least call a vet. |
Has she eaten anything the last couple of days? Will she lick water off of your fingers? This is more than hypoglycemia. Lethargy, pale gums, heavy breathing -- this is very serious and life-threatening. I do agree with ShowgirlLola's suggestion to call the vet or a family friend and try to have them implore your parents to bring your pup in to see the doctor. |

do you guys know a number I could call to ask a vet some stuff |
Idk if yogurt is ok, some dogs don't handle milk products well. Defiantly don't give it to her if it has artificial sweeteners. Call your regular vet or look up ER vets in your area. Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society - Emergency Hospitals Is she perking up at all? |
Has she been spayed? It could be she is coming in season if not. I would also suggest taking her to the vet. She looks small and they can go down very quickly. If she isn't eating try boiling a skinless chicken breast and mixing small pieces of it with plain white rice. Also you might have your parents come online so they could see how very important it is that she be vetted. Praying for her. |

Also, what is the deal w/ the parents, what is stopping them from taking her, money? Since you're an adult, is the barrier bc this is actually their dog and not yours? Or.....? |
