| How old is Princeston? If he is elderly he may have dementia and night confusion. Our old boxer, Boo, would get confused when it got dark outside and would act out of character. Sometimes she would just pace like she didn't know where she was. Other times she was just really needy. I talked with the vet and she told me that Boo probably had dementia -- one those heartbreaking conditions that affects (or is it effects) the elderly. | One more thought... I would suggest talking with your vet. When an older dog starts acting out of character it's time for a checkup. |
