| Hummer-New Member Hello to all Yorkie Parents out there. My name is Pamela and I have a 10 year old, four pound Yorkie boy named Hummer. He was brought into my life as a six ounce baby that fit into a coffee cup. He has been with me through thick and thin, a divorce, new marriage and new baby girl late in life. He has never lost his place in my heart or world as in the love I have for him. He was my "first child" and makes my heart smile each time I see him or hold him. He looks very much like Carol's Callie girl. Hope to post pics as soon as get more acquainted with site. I have posted a few threads in the "sick" thread area and received some already super info. in which I am so greatful. I found this website and trying to research "tips after extracting teeth". I am not computer savvy at all so am learning. Hummer's has been healthy his entire life until recently. Long story short, Hummer had teeth pulled last year which led to him having choking episodes periodically. Had to do Heimlich couple times and thought lost him then. February of this year brought breathing episodes and 10 ER visits during the night. Between NC State Vet. School, my vet, and determination, first finding "NOTHING" wrong with him, in the past 6 weeks has now had his spleen removed and a mas (benign) and all his teeth retracted. He is getting stronger now each day. Seems allergies now huge challenge. Will keep learning and hope to read fun stuff ahead in time. Look forward to getting to know you all, Pamela |

| Hi and Welcome to YT! Hope your little Hummer improves... I wonder if his issues have anything to do with the intubation for his dental? IDK...
