| Do you have a bed? I highly recommend a cloud 9. We have three! . Food bowls? I have numerous of these too. Are you potty training or using pads? You need puppy pads if you plan on pad training. Food? When are you getting your new baby? Congrats on getting her and welcome to YT!

| We love our Cloud Nine beds too. Yorkie Haven Rescue makes them and all of the proceeds go to helping foster pups with medical bills. You can see them and all of the other great things in their boutique here: Bedding*::*Yorkie Haven Rescue Boutique Relative to the crate and xpen: I bought a little kitty travel crate to bring Max home. When we got home, I realized there was no way that I could let a tiny pup safely have free run of the house. We went out the next day and bought the xpen at Tractor Supply. Max liked the security of his little xpen apartment.

| Stairs for your bed and couch, it's good to get them used to them asap. Lola figured out how to get on the couch with no help at 2.5lbs the first full day I had her. |

Before my little lilah came home I set up an ex pen with hr pink princess palace dog house inside of it (I needed my family to be used t respecting her space before she came) I put a dog bed inside the house and a food and water dish on the top level of the house (it has stairs and railing). We do potty pads still but she was so tiny then that I can't imagine not having them, we quickly found out that a potty pad tray was necessary. She also had a short tower of dresser drawers with her food, harnesses and leashes, sweaters and blankets, scissors (for feet trims and ear tip trims) nail clippers, metal comb, standard brush, shampoo, conditioner, cream rinse and detangler and of course toys and treats- since then we have added clippers, a bristle boar brush, face wipes- we use kids boogie wipes but I put something called calm eyes on it to help clean any goopies- ooh, lots of hair ties...always losing those...what else? Don't forget how important having things to chew on is! Keeps them from learning to chew on other things you might even see how her breeder feels about keeping her with her pack until she is twelve weeks old as that is the reccommended practice and really helps them figure out bite control and appropriate pack behavior among other things. Oh and of course my stack of yorkshire terrier books and magazines. Good luck!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | These are the items I always recommend. Some you have and some have been mentioned. Puppy Starter Kit Puppy food - whatever puppy is eating now Tube of Nutra Cal Blankets Potty pads Potty pad holder Iris 4 sided expen with 2 extra sides Toys Identification tags Nature’s Miracle Treats- Cheerios work well Small bowls Harness Leash Puppy shampoo Conditioner Espree Pet Facial Cleanser - plum Baby wipes Nail clippers Kwik Stop Styptic Powder Curved scissors Brush - Li'l Pals Slicker Purple and Green Brush for Kittens, Extra Small - slicker brush that I find it to work awesome... just make sure you get one without any ball on the ends of the pins so it doesn't snag the long hair. Comb - Groomaster Finishing Dog Comb - this is a great eye comb, I have it and use it to get eye boogies out and even to use around their butt when they get some dry puppy stuck! Books "Yorkies For Dummies" "Yorkshire Terriers: A Smart Owners Guide" "How to Housebreak Your Dog in 7 Days"

| You might want to start looking at car seats. We do not go anywhere unless they are safely strapped in for their safety and mine. As soon as we get in the car mine jump right into their seat waiting to get attached to the safety strap and they know that is where they stay until we get where we are going.

YT 1000 Club Member | I see where you said she is 5 weeks and you will be bringing her home in about 3 weeks. That would be 8 weeks, I would recommend waiting til she is 12 weeks old. Still plenty of time to bond but she needs that extra 4 weeks to learn things from her mom.

The cloud 9 has a material that is so comfy that we have begged for human size ones! They are washable and will fluff back up like they are brand new. I have purchased other beds and the girls just prefer the cloud 9. They have really cool patterns as well as choice of fabrics. And the best part is that the money goes for YHR pups! I don't know what it is, they just love them. We have three of them. One is in my bedroom. Rosie used to sleep in my bed but now she sleeps in the cloud 9 instead.
