| Hello everyone Yorkie size question I am new to this site. I recently acquired a yorkie puppy from a breeder. My baby's name is Molly and she is 12 weeks old and weighs almost 2 pounds (1 lb. and 13 oz. to be exact). How big or small would you guess she will be when full grown? |

| Hello and welcome! According to the growth charts your little one should weigh about 4 lbs full grown. But you can't always count on the charts. My Leiloni was right on. My Gus was a little under. But my friends went way over. One never really knows.

| Hi and welcome to Yorkietalk. According to this chart it says 3lbs 14oz but as everyone else has mentioned it is not always accurate as other things come into play as the size of the parents, genetics, etc. Here is the link to the chart I used..My Yorkshire Terrier puppy should grow to 3lb 14oz :: Find out how big your Yorkshire Terrier puppy will grow - Puppy Weight Estimates

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk and congratulations on your new puppy, Molly. She likely will be small, 4 to 5 pounds full grown. Quote:
My two boys are brothers and went way over.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I got Galen from a reputable breeder. He was charting to be 4-4.5 lbs. My breeder told be a week or two after I got him, she didn't feel that he was going to make weight. He will be more like his father smaller. She was right ! Between what your breeder says and the chart you can get an idea. But it can not be guaranteed

| My Miss Priss was supposed to be around 4-5 lbs at full growth according to the charts but she is way over that,,she doesn't look fat but she is solid as can be and loves food.

| At 12 weeks you multiply by 2 about 4 pounds. Sometimes if they are feed to much and get overweight or chubby that's diffrent.

| height What about height? My little guy is pretty active and goes running with me daily, so I don't think he will get overweight, but how tall or long will he get. He is the cutest little thing, just had a growth spurt. Is 4 months old, weights 4.5 lbs. |

| Pebbles was right about 5 lbs at 5 months. She's 11 lbs now. Don't worry too much about weight or height. It is what it is.......

| smaller Thanks for the reply. I was hoping he would be more in the 7 pound range but I guess 11 isn't that bad. How tall is she? I will be surprised if he is that big bc his parents were 3 and 5 pounds. |

| if I remember correctly, at 12 weeks my girl weighed 3 lbs. Breeder thought she'd end up at about 6 lbs, but at 7 months she still only weighs 4 lbs (she's totally healthy and growing fine, just on the tinier side) |

| Wow so she stayed pretty small. I hope he does. He was the runt of the litter, so I'm hoping but he had this growth spurt and now I'm worried he may get too big. |

| I couldn't even tell you how tall she is.....she's 7 yrs old now. She's a rehome so I never saw the parents. She is very lean and muscular. I'd actually be surprised if he got over 7 lbs. But 7 lbs is still a peanut

| My boy was 1lb 9 oz at 12 weeks and weighs about 4lbs, my other guy was 1lb 12 oz and now weighs 4lbs although he is super skinny, and should be be closer to 5. Hoping he continues to fill out over the next year since he is just over 1. |
