| walks Now that the weather is breaking things will change. We go out every night when I get home from work and 3 or more times on the weekend when I'm home. BUT today I fell on ice in front of a store. Messed up my already messed up knee. Still debating about going to the Urgent Care. Any way I have still taken him out I just don't walk much but give him more leash to run. In bad weather he likes to walk on the treadmill as long as I am on it with him. LOL |

| This winter we've been very lazy. But once it's nicer, I try to go up to the local trails and do 3-4 miles about 3-4x a week. The other days are spent swimming (in summer), running, fetching, etc.

| when I was a working gal, I took my dogs out 3 times, 1st at 7:30AM just before I left for work, that was a 20 minute walk. When I got home from work 4:30PM another 20 to 30 minutes, 3 dogs had to stop many times for many sniffs, last outing 10:30PM just ran them to the curb for their pee-pee then to bed we went. I now live in the country and have a back yard for running and also have a new adopted baby (3 y/o) I plan on walking him one time which will be early morning appox. 9 AM, as summer will be here soon and early mornings will be cooler, he has the yard the entire day.

| We haven't been walking much in the winter...but now that it's starting to warm up, we will be walking at least once a day. When it gets warm enough in the early am and evenings, we will resume our morning and nightly walks. I can't wait either!! The boys will have a chance to sniff and mark outside my house!! Geesh...I am always worried I am going to walk my dogs too far, but now that I hear people are walking 2-4 miles with their dogs, maybe I am not letting them go far enough. I've started this spring with them walking around the block and have worked to 3 blocks. I mainly worry about my older dog who's had issues when walking. Last summer, a few of his episodes occurred on walks. |

| Now that we have made it thru "116" years of the coldest winter in Winnipeg we will take Sophie out for about 3 or 4 walks a day. -45-50 was just too much for all of us. |

| We live in the middle of the boonies, no where to walk but our property and the roads. I do have a large fenced in yard, so he runs a little (he isn't allowed to right now). I am blessed to have a camper in a large campground community that opens 4-15 and we will walk all over the place when we get up there! We have been practicing on the leash these few nice days we have, guess I should have done that sooner, but he is getting the idea again.
