| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. There is not a specific weight that a Yorkie should be at that age. However, the Yorkie breed standard says the ideal adult weight is 7 pounds or under. Many Yorkies end up larger. Depending on genetics, some grow faster than others. To guess your Yorkie's adult size, you can double the weight at 12 weeks. Max was almost 4 pounds at 17 weeks and weighs 9 pounds as an adult.
