Breeding is always a touchy subject on here. There are alot of good caring people on this site breediiing is just a controversial subject. Stick with the happier threads and youll be okay. I really think everyone who posted on here was just concerned. They always think in terms of what is best for the dog

Consult now with a reproduction specialist. There is a shot you could give to naturally terminate any pregnancy.

As you very well know, having a litter of puppies with an un-tested baby puppy of 9mths old, is far from ideal. So why go there, if there are options available to you?

For one thing there is no such thing as "getting their genetics tested."
For another thing the vet would have no idea about the "lines" your dog came from.

If you let an un-spayed female in heat get anywhere near a whole male you were not trying to keep them apart.

You came here for advise? I don't see why. You can chemically terminate the pregnancy or you can simply get her spayed ASAP. It appears you have already decided to let your puppy have puppies and it is a very sad situation and it does happen all too frequently often with tragic consequences.

Yes, it is your business and you can do whatever you choose but you came here and brought the fact to light and asked for advise so if people say things that you don't like it is not as though they are butting into your business. You are on a public forum where people do make judgements.

Where did you go for the genetic testing? Which testing did you do? The vet knows the basics of breeding but a reputable breeder knows the most. He is probably going to advise you to go ahead because the dog can more then likely do it but that doesn't mean it's the best option.

Any one can post what they want as long as they follow the rules. Breeding is a very serious subject and should only be done right and to better the breed. You do realize things happen and you could lose your dog is it worth that? It really doesn't sound like you know what your doing about breeding and that makes it even more dangerous and increases the chance of losing your dog or puppies. Just because other people do something doesn't make it ok.

Please if you care for this little Lady at all get her spayed now. It is like having a 6 year old little girl pregnant. Would you really want to risk that? Dogs live 1 year to our 7 therefore the analogy. She is no where old enough and she really could die if you go through with this.

I know how fragile my little 8 month old girl is and how she's still developing each day, so I can't imagine what a pregnancy would be like for pups so young as 8-9 months.
Whether it be some of Yorkietalk's experts (who have known and bred Yorkies for quite some time) or a trusted vet with knowledge of the breed, please seek the counsel of someone who will advise you with your dog's best interest in mind. As much as you might love any surviving puppies from an ill-advised pregnancy, your female's health should come first. There will be other pups to love--love the one you have with all you have and protect her.

Hello everyone im new on here so please bare with me if i dont post correctly. This women i now was selling her male yorkie so i decided to purchase him because i had an idea the puppy was being mistreated. He is 9 months old and is real scared and shy he puts his body real stiff at times. I took him to the vet so he is healthy but he has been abused if anyone been through this please give me some advice on how can i make him feel better and not be so scared. I will except any advice i want to give him a better life!!

Hello everyone in the yorkie community, I have two yorkies a morkie and a Maltese they are all my babies but im here to get advice on my 2 little yorkies. Bella is 8 months old I socialized her very well and trained her to go outside but when its cold out she uses the training pads. She is such a good girl!! I brought my male Benji at 9 months from someone who I thought was abusing him. I had just put down my yorkie male Romeo his lungs where not developed properly so I couldn't see him suffer anymore. I believe in my heart that god wanted me to rescue Benji form his life of abuse. I have him now and I want to give him the best life possible. I took him to the vet for his shots the poor baby is 9 months with no shots and that makes me so upset but ill leave that for another time. Benji has been abused so now im working with him and one of the things I want him to work with is that sometimes when I pick him up or when he sleeps next to me his body is so stiff, he shivers a lot I know that has to do with his nerves but if anyone has some advice I would appreciate it!!

It looks to me like the OP doesn't want advice, even though she asked for it. What was the point of this thread then?

Personally if she were mine, I would have her spayed ASAP. She's too young to have puppies and there is no reason to let her have a litter before you have her spayed. If you decide to let her go through with the pregnancy, I'd start saving for a C-Section in case she ends up needing one. Good luck to you.

I am very confused here. Didn't you say you rescued this little boy from an abusive owner????

That's exactly what the OP said! In an earlier post, this is what she said about that poor pup--
"He is 9 months old and is real scared and shy."

I just don't understand the OP's thinking.

Yep this is the same poster that first told how the little 9 month old boy was abused, and had no vaccinations, but apparently already she has had all this genetic testing done, but per her own words did not even vaccinate because he was so traumatized, then posted asking how to get him to mate in her next posting? Also with the female also being a puppy, this just seems like a disaster waiting to happen. She never responded back in the other thread after I said my opinion was they were to young, especially since the male had just came from an abusive situation. It just seems to me, she rescued the male to breed with her female, and now she does not want to hear the truth of how ethical this would be. Her posts went from how can I get y male to mount my female because he is so short, to oops I fell asleep for a minute and bam they mated. My opinion is its just sad for the 2 puppies :-( we can only pray they both come out of this healthy and not traumatized.
