| welcome to YT, yorkies & poodles have long hair , Poodles have thicker fur then yorkies, at 4 months I would think he should be furrier then he is. I guess you'll have to wait to see. Did you see both the mother & father of this pup? the reason I ask is, from the pic the shape of his face looks neither like a yorkie nor a poodle, (but a pic is just a pic, always looks diff. in person) IN MY OPINION he has more of a Jack Russell shape face and look, also JR's have short fur. I know a lot of ppl that have yorkie poo's and as puppies they were a lot furrier then your lil guy. I guess you're going to have to wait and see as he grows, in either case, you have a cute lil fellow there that you will love, and in the end isn't that all that matters. You will get other opinions as the day goes by, so keep checking in.

| He's so cute!! I love his little face!!!! Now, don't be alarmed about his hair. Since he is a mixed breed pup, anything can happen when those genes get together. There may be throw backs to many generations past of maybe longer faces and shorter hair. But that's what is so great about mixed puppies! You get a unique combination of the parents' genes. Enjoy your little guy. He is adorable!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Awww, what a little cutey! Great face! He looks so darn sweet. It's very tough to predict anything about hair growth bc it's so individual, and also related to genetics. Do his parents have longer hair?

Yorkie Talker | I got to see both parents only two dogs in the house. Mom was a white toy poodle and dad was a tiny yorkie. His face looks like his mommas. He acts just like my grandmothers yorkie. Hes a lap baby for sure. I thought he was a jack Russell mix to but all the other puppies were fluffy and two had the yorkie markings could for sure tell they had yorkie in them. He is just the odd ball lol she didnt dock his tell and he wasnt being treated to well since he wasnt fluffy so he melted my heart. I wasnt even a small dog person until I got hi m |

| He's precious! I would imagine he will get fluffier, but honestly I can't say either way with certainty. I love your description of his personality. He sounds just perfect! Please share more pics as he grows. One of the many reasons I love this site is looking at all the pictures of everyone's previous fur-babies!
