| Really it's going to take a lot of time. Is there certain things or times he is scared that your trying to get him to not be scared of or just in general.

| With these little ones it takes a slow approach and lots of patience. Let him come to you to be picked up and reach out slowly. Also sit in the floor with him and give him treats and lots of love. He will come around and be your best friend. Welcome to YT.

| Welcome to YT any animal that has been abused, mistreated, it takes time and patience to win their trust in you. I suggest holding him as much as possible, hug him. cuddle him, speak softly & gentle to him, offer him treats (not to many) pay a LOT of attention to him. play roll the ball with him, play gentle games, no throwing toys for him to fetch, raising your hand could frighten him, Show him you love him and you are not going to hurt him. When he makes pee pee or he poops clap your hands gently, softly loud clapping may frighten him , praise him, make a BIG fuss telling him he's a good boy. you have to get to know him, his likes, what scares him, he has to get to know you. It takes time, sometimes it could take a long time, depends on the length of time he was mistreated. But NEVER, NEVER give up. He will come around. You have an awesome baby there, yorkies are loving little clowns, cuddle him gently as often as you can, and always be soft spoken & gentle with him. Good luck. I will pray he will gain confidence and trust in you. Thank you for buying a baby you felt was being mistreated. There is a special place in heaven for ppl like you. keep us posted on how he is coming around, and if you can, post a pic for us.

| Congratulations on your Benji. With patience, lots of love, gentleness, and kindness, you will have a wonderful, smart and loving dog. As he gets less timid and adjusts to you and his new home, try to take Benji out to give him new experiences. We did this with our ( rescued) puppy and he has become loving, friendly to all people and dogs, and the light of our lives. Good luck and good for you for 'rescuing' Benji |

| coming around Once again i feel really good that im not alone. I would like to say thank you to all the people reachung out to me. I know for a fact that my baby Benji was abused the lady i got him from said she didnt know how to train him just hitting and scraming at him this is why i took him out of that home. I really wasnt going to get him because i had a male yorkie. God took my baby Romeo from me and put it in my heart to rescue Benji from a bad life so thats how it happen she wanted alot for him but to me its not about the money. I just knew ge needed me and he is really much happier, joyful, full of energy then when i first brong him home. I have a rutine for him and i found the food he likes. I was feeding all my babies blue buffalo but my Bella and Benji where not tp thrill of it so i switch there food to Royal Canin for yorkie pups they love it!!! Im so happy when i see him playing, waiting at the door to go for his walk in the morning and afternoon with Bella. Im so grateful for having my babies in my life♥ |
