| ![]() try to catch her in the act, if she does the circle dance you will know it is time. Grab her can get her outside. Have treats near the door to bring out. Hopefully you will get the poo outside and can reward immediately. If she doesn't go outside (after you catch her circle dance), then try to just stay outside walking until she does...Walking often brings out the poo. Do you take her on walks? If not, that might be the missing link. |

| ![]() I know this is exhausting, I hope you don't give up. I am training a pup right now and I spend my life monitoring her. I want my pup to be potty pad trained so my goal may be different. The first thing I would do is buy an expen that your dog can't get out of. I would put that up wherever I want the dog to potty. At night I would crate her but put the crate where you can see her and touch her. Give her a blanket or shirt that has your scent on it. First thing in the morning take her wherever you want her to potty and let her take her time caged in the area where you want this to happen. The good thing about potty pads and expens is you can leave her there inside the house where she is safe. I only crate my pup at night, she is right next to my head. During the day if I leave I put her in the expen with water, toys, her bed and potty pads. Good luck! |
