| When does the coat change color? Leo is 6.5 months old, and his coat is still all black. I figured by this time he would start turning silver. His undercoat has silver in it, and he has a mixture of silver and black on his face. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against his coloring. In fact I like it but I'm just curious will it change, or stay the same?

| Penny is just over 9 months and she's still pretty black. She has dark gray coming in near her arm pits but that's about it. Bayleigh was already gray by the time she was 3 months old when I got her. I think each dog is different.

| Depends on the dog. Max and Teddy changed continuously from puppyhood to age 3. Max still has a dark saddle that reflects blue. Teddy has a silvery saddle. Both have gold heads, but Teddy is a little blonder. They are full brothers.

| Leo still has both his top and bottom baby canine teeth (incisors?) along with the adult teeth grown in right beside them. I think that could be the reason his other ear hasn't stood up. When he gets fixed he'll have to have the baby teeth removed..possibly after that his other ear will pop up.

| Kyra never changed from the black coat on her saddle, Laddy took almost 2 years to change and still has a lot of dark on his upper part of his saddle at 5 years old. They all change differently.
