| Need Advice for Gizmo - whining and pooping wherever Hi everyone, I need a little advise. . Gizmo got his vaccinations on Saturday and wasn't his normal playful self when he got home but seemed to be better on Sunday. The vet told me he may be a little a mellow for a day or two. On Sunday he started pooping wherever he is and he doesn't even walk away from me, he will go right in front me withouth even attempting to go to the pee pad. He has also started whimpering a lot and I don't know what he wants. He whimpered on Saturday night for me to go with him to go pee which was weird. Now he is whimpering in the morning when I'm getting ready for work. Before he would play in the bathroom or right outside while I was getting ready. I'll play with him here and there while I'm getting ready. Now he'll play a little and then come over to me and whimper, but I don't know what he wants. He'll even whimper while he's playing with his toy. It's so sad. Has anyone experience anything like this? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Gosh, I'd get back to vet...something is not right here. Did you feel around the spot and press where he got the vaccine, is it tender? How many vaccines did he get?

| i agree and try not to let the vet push the vac might be a issue under the table. did he have multiple shots? he may be in pain or had an adverse reaction to the shot. wishing you and him the best hope he goes back to being himself asap.

| Thanks for the replies. He was better last night and actually made it to the pee pad each time! The only time he was whimpering was yesterday morning while I was getting ready, but it was what I would consider constant. I decided to post the question because I wasn't sure if it was going to get worse and I wanted to be prepared this morning. He was whimpering this morning as I was getting ready again, but only a couple of times. I don't think it has anything to do with the vaccinations, I have rubbed and touched where he received his shots and there doesn't seem to be any pain and it doesn't bother him. I'm sorry if I didn't post the question correctly. He got three shots on Saturday. |
