| ![]() Layla is not being a good girl today and to make it worse I came down with the flu. I got no sleep last night and when I got home from school we took a nap together on the couch which was a bad idea for her i guess because now she has tons of energy. i'm covered in a blanket and shaking, my head hurts, and i threw up everything i ate today and I just don't have the energy to watch her or run after her and she keeps getting into things she shouldn't be! i had the doorway blocked for her to stay in the kitchen but she got past that, she climbs over any fence i put up and pushes away any boxes. i'm so frustrated i don't know what to do!! If i try to sleep she'll cry. i just feel like i needed to rant. what do you guys do with your puppies when you're sick? |

| ![]() I am sorry you are feeling so badly! I have an x pen for my girls when I can not watch them. It is big enough that they can eat, sleep, play, and use the peepad when necessary! I hope she calms soon and you are able to get some rest!!!

| ![]() Just like you're doing. We suffer through it. No, actually, the last time I had flu, Muffin was still alive and she stayed on the bed with me the whole time! She was an angel. If I got it now, Kacee would probably kill me jumping on me! ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Thanks, I think she's starting to calm down now. Well at least she's just sitting there and not running around. Whenever I try to keep her in a pen she cries... no, more like SCREAMS. She does that all night too if I keep her on the floor so now she gets to sleep with me. If I let her cry too much I'm going to get evicted. For the most part she's quiet, but if she's somewhere she doesn't want to be, she'll let my ears have it. And seriously, she won't stop. It was a 4 and a half hour drive down here to our new home, I broke it up into two trips. She was in her crate right beside me, and she doesn't mind her crate at all, but as soon as she's in the car she goes CRAZY. Honestly she didn't stop the whole time. She's got a big voice for a little dog. |

| ![]() Thank God - I have another dog that my pup plays with constantly. Usually about the time she decides to spend time with me, she's worn out, tired, and wants to snuggle up and rest. Carol Jean |

![]() ![]() We stack 2 gates - one on top of the other - to keep Joey contained in a room. Like your pup, he easily jumps over one. If you haven't taught the commands "get your toy" and "get your bone", you might want to teach those. They are very useful anytime, but would be especially useful when you're sick next time. Hope you feel better soon!

| ![]() I was gonna suggest stacking gates or putting in an inexpensive door til all the climbing stops. But, honestly, some Yorkies never stop climbing without some expert training. Good luck with your lil monster and with your big monster cold.. |
