| Dallas/Fort Worth Groomers Wow! I just noticed that we had a section for groomers review. Where have I been and how did I miss that??? Well can anyone recommend groomers in the DFW area of Texas? I have been doing all of chloes grooming myself because I am so scared of her getting a bad haircut but I think she needs to be professionally trimmed soon.

| I am in the same area..and along with a good yorkie groomer, any leads to a vet who handles small dogs (yorkies) would be appreciated too! My vet is fine, but doesn't seem to understand or perhaps take seriously the specifics to the breed.

| I take Rocky to a place called "Natural Groomers" in North Richland Hills. It is at North Tarrent Parkaway and Davis Blvd, in the shopping center next to Albertson's. This groomer came highly recommend from a co-worker who takes her dogs and all her rescue dogs there. They were very nice, and professional. They have gift shop in thr front and they do all the grooming in back. They will show around if you want to see there facilities. They are very clean and are really good with their clients. Rocky gets an oatmeal bath when he goes, and he smells so good afterwards. Another friend recommended "Snoopies" off Rufe Snow I believe. Everytime I see her, she never likes how they have groomed her Yorkie. But keep in mind, this is also coming from someone who does brush her Yorkie, so they always have to shave the baby. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | We have a local groomer we use and we just love her. She used to work for Petco and the girls had seen her a couple of times and then one day we notice a new grooming shop in town and walked in to find her there....we were so excited and she remember the girls right away!!! So now the girls see her all the time, she is helping us grow the girls hair out, so they visit every couple of weeks. Her store is called Cats and Dogs and she is located here in Midlothain.

| Groomer/Vet I have tried numerous groomers with my other dogs here in DFW and have found one , FINALLY, that is really good and I trust to do my yorkie babies. The name of the shop is Pampered Paws, 1614 Randol Mill Rd, Arlington, TX 817-461-7297 Vets, here, were driving me crazy until I was told of one by the breeder I bought Rainbow & Stormi from. Her name is Dr Kelly Gibbs & she is just absolutely wonderful. She is so caring and takes her time and is INTERESTED in your babies. Also is reasonable. She is at East Renfro Animal Clinic 1461 East Renfro Burleson, TX 76028 817-447-PETS....I drive miles to her and it is worth my time and trouble by far!! |
